This standard was developed by Skills for Health. This standard links with the following dimension within the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (October 2004): HWB7 Interventions and treatments. It also includes standards associated with Principles of Good Practice (CNH1), which explore and establish the client’s needs for complementary and natural healthcare; and, (CNH2), which develop and agree plans for complementary and natural healthcare with clients.

These relationships may be with other educational establishments, standards agencies and independent professional bodies.

CRKBO - ICCHP Hypnotherapy Course Accreditations

Prospective students should be aware that there are many promoted professional hypnotherapy bodies offering accreditation to courses, however most of these are not independent bodies and are usually set up and managed by the training providers themselves. Other non independent bodies will offer training providers course accreditation for a fee paid to the body by the training provider. Students should check closely, so called accreditation claims of any course provider/professional bodies. If they are not independent, attached to a specific training provider or charge providers for course accreditation then they are not independent.
