It is the intention and the goal of the ICCHP to explore and develop a number of important accreditation and affiliations which represent the highest quality standards for hypnotherapy training and professional membership for our graduate practitioners. These will be either to provide to our students the assurance in the quality standards of the ICCHP programme, or to provide to our students beneficial relationships with other organisations, that lead to furthering the available professional options and reputation for our students.  These relationships may be with other educational establishments, standards agencies and independent professional bodies.

Prospective students should be aware that there are many promoted professional hypnotherapy bodies offering accreditation to courses, however most of these are not independent bodies and are usually set up and managed by the training providers themselves. Other non independent bodies will offer training providers course accreditation for a fee paid to the body by the training provider. Students should check closely, so called accreditation claims of any course provider/professional bodies. If they are not independent, attached to a specific training provider or charge providers for course accreditation then they are not independent.

The ICCHP only seeks accreditation and validation from true independent bodies recognised to represent its students and graduate practitioners, this ensures no conflict of interest, benefits our students and promotes a more joined up profession. The ICCHP only recognises the following organisations as offering pure independent accreditation, validation and affiliation.
